Ok, y’all – I did it. After being on the internet since 1991, going from BBS to Forums to Blogs to MySpace to Twitter and Facebook and Instagram and Pinterest and and and…it’s time to go old school and return to that sweet spot of the personal blog.

Yep…my own domain. My own content. Not subject to the terms of service of someone with all the money and none of the sense…not that I promise to have all the sense myself, mind you.

There is, for me, the need to balance ‘keep in touch with all the amazing folks I have met over the decades’ and ‘it is absolutely not good for my mental health to be deluged in slop’.

Am I still on Bluesky and Gander? Yep, for now at least. And the protocol those use means that my data is mine, and can transfer with me anywhere.

Eventually, AuDHD permitting, I’ll add some gated content here, the same type of stuff I used friend lists for on FB.

Expect ramblings, random crafts, and whatever is crossing my brain at any given moment.
